Replacing the original air panel filter of a 206 GTi

Most small maintenance services can be done by your self. Replacing the original air panel filter is an example of this. Replace every 12.000 miles the air panel filter. By doing this, the engine will perform better and it will be more efficient with it's fuel. The costs are about £8.00 and the replacement costs about 5 minutes!

      Step 1

    Unscrew the 4 screws.

      Step 2

    Remove the dirty air panel filter out of the airbox. You can see how dirty it is after 12.000 miles.

      Step 3

    Clean the inside of the airbox with a vacuum cleaner.

    Place the new air panel filter in the airbox. When the air panel filter is fitted in the right place, the airbox can be closed. Screw up the airbox and the job is done.
