Remove the brackets of the strips. Study the side protections strips very well. As you can see on the door strips, one of the brackets is just a bit lower/higher then the rest (2 mm). Keep this in mind when you have to draw the points for where you have to bore.

Draw a line on the duck tape at the exact height of the cord. The points where to bore are about 3 cm lower than the 'cord-line'. Draw a line at that height as well. Place the brackets back on the side protection strips. Hold the side protection strips near the lower line at measure where to make the holes. Do this again, to make sure that you have measured every thing correctly.

When you are absolutely sure that all points are marked correctly you can start boring the holes. When you start, there will be no way back. Start with a 3 mm bore. When you're done, bore the holes again with a 6 mm bore. After this do it again with a 10 mm bore. The brackets are 10 mm, so don't go bigger!.

Use the 13 mm bore for removing the wire-edges created by the 10 mm bore. Do this by hand, as shown on the picture above. Use a steel protection product (example Valma undercoating) for protecting the holes from water.
