What do I have to do, to add my Peugeot to one of the galleries?
Register yourself. Please fill all fields correctly. After the registration, you can upload your photos and modify the spec-list as many times as you want.


What are the rules for the specification fields?
There're some small rules for the specication fields, for keeping the search option as good as possible. For this reason, it's important that every one follow these rules.
  • Fill in the specification in English.
  • Use 1 capital for each specification.

    Please take a look at a few user-profiles to get an idea about the standards before you start filling in your own.


    Which Peugeots will be added to the galleries?
    All sportive Peugeots.


    Do I self have to 'clear' the license plates?
    If you haven't got any problems with your license plate online, than you don't have to. Photos uploaded by an admin allways have cleared license plates.


    How long does it takes before my Peugeot will be added to the gallery?
    The admins will check regulary for new uploaded pictures. New pictures will be aproved ...or not.


    I have some pictures of meetings, are these welcome as well?
    Yes please, if you have pictures of meetings, please contact one of the webmasters.


    How does my car become 'Peugeot of the week'?
    All Peugeots listed in the galleries have a chance for this. Most important is that your Peugeot is listed in the gallery, so upload those pictures!


    Can users be deleted?
    Users will be deleted when:

  • They have made a profile, but never activated it.
  • Usage of strange nick-names.
  • They don't follow the standards/rules (after a few correction emails from the admins about this).


    In which resolution should I send the pictures?
    Upload pictures that are smaller than 1mb each. If the're to big, the server can't handle it.


    What is the standard picture resolution?
    The standard is 640x480.


    Why aren't all pictures sharp?
    This is caused due to some reasons:
  • Quality of the (digital)camera used (and in some cases the scanner).
  • All pictures online are compressed. Due to the compression the pictures are smaller in size (in kilobytes) but unfortunately less sharp.


    Why are the pictures compressed?
  • Peugeotperformance.net uses more than 15 gigabyte of bandwith each month. By compressing the pictures, the size (in kilobytes) will be reduced which saves bandwith.
  • The loading time for the pictures is shorter.
  • It saves loads of money.

    Disadvantage: sharpeness is reduced.
